The fabric of the "Delta Multiprotect" consists of 44% cotton with modacrylic (54%) and carbon (2%). This mixture ensures a high flame protection and at the same time an extremely soft, pleasant touch. (Professionals may say something about the term "satin weave". This is what you will find here). Modacrylic is an inherently flame retardant, self-extinguishing fiber that does not melt or drip when ignited and chars when combined with cotton. The addition of a carbon fiber provides protection against electrostatic charge.
