Both air purification devices combine gentle UV-C disinfection with simultaneous air purification.

Fighting viruses with air purifiers

CWS INTERsens® 250R & 250 disinfect the room air absolutely reliably with UV-C, without any UV-C light penetrating to the outside. It has been proven that no ozone or other by-products are produced. Viruses (also SARS-CoV-2 ), bacteria and fungi are destroyed immediately - filterless, quiet and odorless.

The targeted use of UV-C for the disinfection of room air does not pose any risk to humans, as it takes place within the CWS INTERsens® 250R & 250. In the UV-C air purifiers, the air is sucked in together with the pathogens it contains and disinfected inside, only to be released afterwards.

The University of Bochum has specifically tested the functionality of the CWS INTERsens® 250R & 250 to destroy the SARS Cov-2 virus and certified its reliability.
