Fire safety instruction is a key component of operational safety and makes a significant contribution to protecting employees and companies from fire hazards. It involves imparting knowledge and skills that can save lives in the event of a fire. In accordance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Section 12), employers are obliged to provide their employees with fire safety training at least once a year.
Fire safety instruction: Goal
Employees are trained in important aspects of fire safety during the fire safety briefing. This includes, for example, the correct behaviour in the event of a fire, the correct use of fire extinguishers and keeping escape and rescue routes clear.
Employees are also familiarised with fire safety signs and informed about specific fire risks and techniques in their own company.
Theory & practice combined
The fire safety training is divided into a theoretical and a practical part.
Basic knowledge is taught in the theoretical part. This is followed by practical training in the application of the knowledge learnt. This includes, for example, a practical exercise in the use of fire extinguishers, during which employees are familiarised with the various fire classes and suitable extinguishing tactics.

Our fire safety experts carry out fire safety training directly at your company - whether it's a daycare centre, industrial plant, office or workshop.
The training is carried out in accordance with the current DGUV and ASR A.2.2 guidelines and is led by qualified trainers. In addition to imparting theoretical knowledge, we place particular emphasis on practical exercises to strengthen employees' ability to act in an emergency.
The fire safety training usually lasts 2-3 hours and can be held in German or, on request, in English. Upon completion, participants can receive a certificate as proof of their participation. The costs depend on the number of participants and are agreed individually.
